Utility Prep

We take care of the trenching and prep work for underground hydro and water lines. Our job is to dig the trench only your hydro or plumbing contractor handles the line installation.

Before any digging, line locating must be done to mark existing utilities. On older properties, this includes checking for hydro, water, and gas lines. For new builds, this usually isn’t needed if no previous services exist.

Trenches are dug to about 3 feet deep, clean, level, and ready for installation. Once the lines are in, we can backfill and compact for a clean, solid finish.
